2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have released a new single, “Long Story Short,” off their forthcoming joint album, Welcome 2 Collegegrove. The pair performed the track live on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, Nov. 13. Welcome 2 Collegegrove will arrive on Nov. 17 via Def Jam Recordings. The album follows the pair’s 2016 collaborative effort ColleGrove, named after 2 Chainz’ hometown of College Park, Georgia, and Lil Wayne’s hometown of Hollygrove, Louisiana. Recently, the duo shared the LP’s debut single, “Presha.” 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have been collaborating since 2007 when Lil Wayne hopped on “Duffle Bag Boy” by Playaz Circle. They’ve since joined forces on singles like “Rich As ~~~~” and Juicy J’s strip club anthem “Bandz a Make Her Dance.” This is the instrumental for Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz Long Story Short.
