David Kushner is an American musician, songwriter, and composer known for his work in the rock band Velvet Revolver and for his various collaborations in the film and television industry. He was born on November 16, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. Kushner started playing guitar when he was a teenager and began his professional music career in the early 1990s.

Kushner first gained national recognition as the guitarist for the band Wasted Youth, which he joined when he was only 16 years old. After leaving Wasted Youth, Kushner played in several other bands, including Electric Love Hogs and Loaded. In 2002, he joined Velvet Revolver, a supergroup that included former members of Guns N’ Roses and Stone Temple Pilots.

Kushner has also collaborated with numerous artists and musicians in the film and television industry, including composer James Newton Howard and music producer Atticus Ross. He has composed music for several films, including “Cry Wolf” and “American Wasteland,” as well as for television shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Punisher.”

One of Kushner’s recent works is the instrumental track “Daylight,” which was featured in the popular video game “Destiny 2: Beyond Light.” The track features a heavy, distorted guitar riff and a driving rhythm section, creating an intense and energetic sound.
